The size of your parasol depends on your own preferences as well as the arrangement of your furniture. The edge of the parasol should generally extend slightly over the edge of your furniture. For example, a parasol with a width of 3.5 meters can accommodate an outdoor dining table with 8 seats.

If you've ever walked through a severe storm with an umbrella, you know that strong wind hitting your umbrella can easily break it. That's why we have equipped our parasols with ventilation openings that allow the wind to escape under the canopy, making it more robust and resistant to strong winds. The vents also serve to let warm air through so you don't freeze. This also allows smoke to escape if you are grilling or have a fire pit.
